Glencore already controls PolyMet and could go up to 75% ownership yet Glencore isn’t guaranteeing one penny of PolyMet’s “financial assurances” to the State for cleanup from its sulfide mine in Minnesota’s Lake Superior watershed.
What a rip off.

It’s amazing that both Minnesota Senators @amyklobuchar and @TinaSmithMN keep shilling for PolyMet’s sulfide mine in the Lake Superior watershed even though controlling shareholder Glencore (which has a bad environmental and corruption record globally) won’t pay for clean-up.
Governor @Tim_Walz:
Former Governor @GovArne is on top of this and wrote every member of the legislature about the “financial assurances.”
You’re getting duped by corrupt DFLers on the Iron Range if you don’t see this environmental disaster and that taxpayers are getting scammed.

A former NRA shill, she now wants gun laws.
She used @HillaryClinton to get elected and then in the middle of a constitutional crisis over Trump says that Clinton should have resigned.

It would be impolite and inaccurate to say that @ewarren has balls, but whatever it takes to be President, she’s got it.
We’re tired of indecisive wimps who rant against @realDonaldTrump to get elected and then don’t do anything about him. At least she can kick his a— in 2020.

Instead of litigating to defend PolyMet sulfide mining the Minnesota AG should be investigating the IRRR scandal where @joeradinovich got a $100K state job in a rigged “search” so embarrassing and illegal that he had to be forced out by @Tim_Walz
Before she joined the AG’s office @carlymelin ran a “trade council” where she shilled for sulfide mining.
That “revolving door” in and out of government sure does spin ...

Using this logic we should also exempt trucks carrying cows from getting speeding tickets. If something bad happens on the road .... oh well, at least the cattlemen can probably salvage some hamburger.

One thing I used to do very well is spot trends very early.
I started noticing email addresses on people’s business cards and told people that business email will become BIG! This was shortly before Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange became big. I also saw the cloud coming there
We were probably amongst the first to use Google’s cloud suite long before anyone in Africa and got 200 email accounts free. Swifta still has those free corporate emails till today even though they are now a Google partner selling the same thing to others. The cloud worked better
I was also the one to tell my guys to ditch our partnership with Oracle and go full steam ahead with Google because of the cloud. I remember telling someone from Oracle who was in charge of virtual machines on a flight from Morocco to the UK that they would lose Africa.

So i have to deal with people from all 50 states. I've gotten them all. And we get a lot of people from the state of New York. A large portion of them are Chinese or at least of the Far East Origins. Most don't concern themselves with politics or anything like that.
They have their issues but they are generally decent to deal with. Yesterday however i was blessed to not have to deal with many Americans from that state.

Because I am unabashedly pro life...and i don't mix politics with work..and some days that's very fucking hard.
Some days however..it feels like NYC lets out its crazies. Had yesterday been one of those days, i probably would be typing this unemployed. New York is a shithole. Its a fucking insanity what just happened there. It is a state beyond recovery, beyond redemption...

One of the messages that changed my approach to life and my life itself was by Pastor Poju a few years ago and it was titled “How Your Thoughts About Others Affect Your Own Life.”

For the past few years, that teaching has shaped my attitude towards others and changed my life.
I was born into a church where the mantra was that for it to be well with you, it must be woeful for someone else - and this is reflective of African society where people believe that their inadequacies are the fault of someone else blocking them or taking away their shine.
I must have listened to that message over 100 times since then and internalised the lessons to a point where I now find it difficult to wish ill on anyone else, even when the person clearly manifests to me as an adversary.

A heart filled with hate can rarely make progress.
