Wanna know how they got your personal details & what they're going to do with them?

Well, it's easy to find out. You just need to write them a letter and pop it in the post.

Here's a template to cut and paste...

Please supply the data about me that I am entitled to under data protection law relating to:

- my personnel file encompassing all the personal data you hold about me
- what you are using this data for
- where you got my name and address
- where you got all other information about me that you hold

- how you identified that I'd be a suitable person to receive your mailings and I never signed up to receive mailings from you
- who you are sharing the data with and how you made this decision

- how long you intend to store my data and how you made this decision (your website says not “any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected” but that is a very vague answer and I would like a clear answer please

- what rights I have to challenge the accuracy of your data on me, get it deleted or bject to use
- whether you have any information on me obtained illegally
- whether you have information on me gathered in ways that that were legal at the time but not under current GDPR

7.
- whether you've transferred my data to a 3rd country or international organisation; if so what security measures you took

Data protection law requires your response within one calendar month. Your own website says that you will meet this deadline.
