Do you rush what you want to last forever? There's something about Love and Time that we often take for granted. But soon when the veil falls off we see things clearly like a blind man seeing the sun for the first time. I guess a story will do justice to this correlation...♥️⏰

Once upon a time, there was an Island where all the feelings lived; Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so they all constructed boats & left except for Love. 😕

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment. It needed to be certain everyone was safely out. When the Island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was cruising by Love in a grand boat and Love said "Oh Sir Richness can you take me with you?" Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold & Silver in my boat and I can not afford to make room for you...as you were not in my budget." 🤑

Love then decided to ask Vanity, who was also strutting on around in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity Diva, please help me my slay queen!" But Vanity said 'Bobriskycally' "Duh...I can't help you Love. You're all wet & might damage my expensive boat."

Sadness wasn't far from the trail of Vanity and Love asked, "Sadness can I at least go with you?" But Sadness said with head bowed "Oh Love, I am so sad I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love to but she was too gleeful and lost in the euphoria of being safe that while celebrating she didn't hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice. "Come Love , I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived on dry land, the elder went his own way.

Realizing how much was owed the elder, Love asked Knoweldge, another elder, "Who helped me?" Knowledge answered "It was Time. "Time?" Asked Love. "But why did Time help me?" 🤔

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."
