When the #txlege Task Force concluded its investigation and released its report last year, their first recommendation was:

HB 744 is up for 3rd reading in the House today. It’s the deadline for passing bills on 3rd reading, so if time runs out it’s GAME OVER.

ALSO: The Children’s Health Care Bill (*HB 342*), which will eliminate multiple periodic income checks and keep as many as 4000 kids from losing Medicaid coverage each month, is stalled. It hasn’t gotten out of Calendars, and there’s no opportunity for a House vote. #txlege
