This is *huge* new info: Steele said Manafort was using an Alfa Bank server to secretly communicate with the Kremlin. This was before any of the Alfa Bank Trump Tower news broke.
Worth noting that Mueller had a whole section on Petr Aven of Alfa Bank and his transition contacts with members of the Trump team.

For clarification,, the Alfa Bank/Trump Tower rumors date back earlier than this meeting with Steele and the State Dept official. However, I don't believe a Manafort/Aven connection to an Alfa Bank server has ever been reported. That's the new info here.
