Pick your top 10 favorite songs in that style
Pick 10 albums that represent that style to you
This is how you build your taste, style, aesthetic.
You don't have to like everything, just know what you like!
Practice every day.
Even if it's only 10 minutes a day.
That will make a difference in the long run.
Pick any song you want to learn. Pick one part. Then, work on learning that.
This is non-negotiable. This is how you find out:

+ what you can't play
+ what is good
+ what can be improved
+ what to practice next
This means investing in your education.
+ Buy books & courses.
+ Attend workshops & talks.
+ Take regular private lessons.
There are SO MANY THINGS to learn.
Although you can find free stuff online,
it's rarely the same as high quality paid material.
