UPDATE: MTN Nigeria will list over 20bn units of shares by introduction on the NSE tomorrow at N90 per share. This will make MTN the 2nd largest company by market cap on the NSE and create a good opportunity for you to invest at probably the lowest price it may ever be. Thread.

I understand there is no minimum units you can buy, so you can buy as low as N10,000. Note however that different stockbrokers have different minimum amount they require for account opening, so don't be discouraged if one is outside your capacity, just call another one.
Once you open the account, you can then mail them or contact them via any other channel to buy the shares for you. Please refer to my earlier thread quoted here for the merits in taking advantage of this. I will respond to any other questions you may have. End.
