At the Center for American Progress @amprog , we've written reports discussing the dangers of foreign $$ coming into U.S. elections via corporations, LLSs, shell companies. The Republican FEC commissioners are refusing common-sense standards to prevent this money from coming in.

This @amprog @CAPdemocracy report includes a recommendation for using a threshold test to measure foreign ownership of US companies -- and to keep those foreign interests who exceed the treshold from influencing our elections.
