I'll be clear, any @ReformRabbis from @JonahPesner and down that doesn't get up and walk out when @TheRevAl is called up, is displaying the same moral turpitude as making claims of "both sides" after Charlottesville.

This *entire speech* is a justification for ignoring and forgetting Crown Heights. This is so insulting. So wrong. Literally - the whole thing is "people will say you did wrong by bringing me here, but you need to forget that..."

The willingness by some #RAC19 to say that they've accepted to apology that Sharpton never made to the people he actually hurt is truly a mind-bending act of cognitive dissonance

I like to use social media for positive things, so I'm not going to spend more time on the potch in ponim.

I'm just going to share a number of historical documents with those at #RAC19 - 911 call transcripts, pics and clippings.

Stepping back into this to add the following:
If you don't say "I'm sorry" it's not an apology.
If you don't say what you did wrong, it's not an apology.
If you don't apologize to the people you hurt, it's not an apology.

This was a charade of fake remorse for mutually beneficial political expedience.
It was vile and revolting and those responsible should be deeply ashamed.

Had the marches and stones thrown and chants of "Hitler didn't finish the job" and women beaten and windows smashed and children cowering under the table been on 65th and 5th instead of Kingston and Eastern Parkway, none of this would even be considered.
