Arrived in London for the #Twitterblades High Court case. Almost been run over by three taxis and just passed a sign outside a café advertising strawberries and granola so guessing I’m in London anyway. Updates to follow.
Counsel for both parties are beginning to arrive. Case due to get underway at around 10.30am. Jeremy Tutton has already taken up his seat in the witness box. #twitterblades
We're underway. A few housekeeping matters first. Mr Tutton expected to be cross-examined and re-examined today then Scott McCabe will give evidence tomorrow morning. Simon McCabe and Andy Birks will give evidence on Wednesday.

Since we’re talking about how we got into college today, here’s mine:

I worked my ass off and was awarded a 4 year, full ride Air Force ROTC scholarship in 2000. Had the second-highest score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) in the state.
That meant I could pretty much do any job I wanted.

Final award was contingent on passing standard military entrance tests (physical, etc).

I was advised by my instructors not to make a big deal out of my exercise-induced asthma, and it wouldn’t be a problem.
I was so worried about “lying” on that part of my physical, that I was not prepared for my responses to other possible questions.

Questions like “Have you ever had suicidal thoughts?”

I was not at all prepared for that question.

Two days later, everyone is sick of the @michelleisawolf #WHCD takes. So I thought I'd drive right into the abyss, go long, and look at how the routine is structured. I've been a fan for a long time; that will be obvious. This will take 3 days.
I want to highlight 3 things: voice, pacing, contempt. Even this insanely long thread doesn't get at everything going on in the routine—the eye work is great—but if this was the last #WHCD, the even deserves an epic sendoff, S/Z style.
1. The first remark draws attention to the room, and immediately conveys her sense that the event is BAD. It's in what I'll call normal voice—the voice she uses to seemingly step out of the performance. That voice speaks in monosyllables and simple syntax.
