I’ve created a homeless resource guide for the entire city of Atlanta. This guide should have every resource a person struggling with homelessness could get. It also has coupons for things like tents, meals, coats, etc from local businesses. I’m super proud! Creating thousands.
It will be actually a bound book and can fit in someone’s pocket. So excited to get these out.

For context: I work as the director of communications and advocacy at @livingroomatl where we focus on housing for people living with HIV. The problem is, often times people would come in and we couldn’t help them and they were left to wonder the city to find who could.
Our society doesn’t make it easy to find resources and advertisements won’t work for this population. So now a houseless individual can open this book and find the address, services, times open etc of everywhere!
It also has sections for people to add their own notes. The coupons in it give it a slight monetary value which stops people from wasting them.
This took months to create and we had a strong base of research already from Atlanta Youth Count. But you could do it in your city, you just need dedication and funding for printing.
