NEW: Multiple Snap employees have abused their privileged data access to spy on users. Motherboard has also learned of an internal tool called "SnapLion" that can be used to look up information about users

Story is based on accounts from former employees, who described abuse and spying, as well as internal emails from Snapchat obtained by @josephfcox
three separate teams at Snap—including customer service—have access to SnapLion, according to our reporting. This is reminiscent of Uber's "God View" and other tools that have been abused by employees to spy on users
Really important to realize that all social media platforms have built tools to serve cops user data when they get a subpoena, and that the people who have access to those tools are *humans* and that humans cannot be trusted. Here's @alexstamos:

NEW: Motherboard has obtained an internal Apple document outlining a new program called "Apple Genuine Parts Repair" that contains many of the requirements of right to repair legislation motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/…
the program allows repair companies to do much more than its current "Authorized Service Provider" program does, which suggests that the right to repair movement has pushed the company to change and loosen up its supply chain (at least with certain repair companies)
Most importantly, this looks like an attempt by Apple to kill right to repair legislation by preemptively offering select repair companies something that looks suspiciously like right to repair, which allows it to argue legislation isn't necessary

Headway into the exclusion issue is being made - the fall in non-users of the internet is falling steadily each year. But in 2018, 10% of people in the UK were non-users.
Proportion of the public who use the internet to access public services is growing, but still hasn't hit the 50% mark - even for the relatively low bar of looking up information. Throws into question whether "digital by default" is proving a rapid success.

☝THREAD on #HiviteTactics : Want to out [Them]? Speak a stark truth. Watch for any gaslighting or attempts to twist the subject. They can't refute truth, so they try to deflect and confuse the issue. It's very subtle sometimes. These people are stupid, but they're clever.
☝An (actual) example would be: I say that Luciferian Hivites designed our languages to be equally usable both straightforward and inversely, so that they could have a means of communication that is hidden in plain sight.
☝A person immediately begins to try and gaslight me, telling me that I just "think" they created things. That only God creates. They just fooled people into "thinking" they did any of this. The goal of gaslighting is to get you to question your perception of reality.

Bar a few minor exceptions, all countries have tariffs on imports:

Pointing to tariffs to criticise the EU and saying we should be like Singapore is as ridiculous as criticising the UK because we have excise duty, or saying we should be like Monaco with no income tax.
