I think it's always the inherent lack of knowledge--or the belief that people will just go along with what they say without question bc they "quote" the constitution, so they must be right--that pisses me off the most.

Cuz there are people out there like me who go, hey, wait, that's not right. States can't just claim any group of people coming across the border is an invasion and decide to go to war with them bc of Article 1 Section 10.

That's ludicrous.

So I did.

Clearly "Enemies" does not refer to civilians looking for refuge, or even economic opportunity.

But turning them into a War-Powers-Turn-Back-the-"Invasion" Army, would instead run afoul of Posse Comitatus.

What kind of person takes a look at people--men, women & children--*fleeing* violence, seeking refuge, and says: that's the enemy, that's who we make war on.

Nor anywhere near vulnerable children, the asylum process or anything to do with migrant populations at all.
