One cannot help but notice the deafening silence from many circles, as the children's death toll mounts. It's easy to say, the pro-life crowd isn't. Or, the children are brown, or they're immigrants, so they matter less to those who are usually all about protecting those Baybeez.

Immigrants--and by extension, immigrant *children*--ARE NOT HUMAN to trump or his base. Not as human as they hold themselves. They're not real. Not PEOPLE.

They don't MATTER.
