I often disagree with @MBuhari on most of his political decisions. How on earth as a politician would you come to power & retain the appointees of your opponent? How will you allow rogues to hijack the NASS because you don't want to interfere?
How would you allow your performing MoF to be stampeded out of office because of NYSC when you can call the director & give him a directive in her favor? How can you allow your SGF to be stampeded out of office because of less than #300million when previous SGF embezzled billions
How can you allow INEC chairman you appointed almost run your party out of town? How can you allow the judiciary free rein that they are so bold to give judgement against your party at will? This is not democracy or usage of power in Nigeria's context
However, as a patriot, I am glad @MBuhari is living to his reputation of high integrity. We may not agree with him, we may disparage him as much as we like but he is setting a high moral standard for future presidents to be judged with & it's good for us as a nation
These little things may look insignificant today but it's a step in the right direction. If we can conquer the moral laxity among our leaders especially at the highest office of the land, then, we will be close to national redemption
