Couldn’t be prouder that in my borough, Camden, Tories came 6th. SIXTH. Also in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Oxford, Lambeth, Southwark & ultra-Tory City of London. In Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea - I repeat, *Kensington & Chelsea* - they came a much more respectable fourth.
They also came 6th in Haringey and Lewisham. But, drum roll everyone, because I think this might just be icing on the cake: in the great city of Liverpool, UK’s 5th largest, Tories won 2% of vote and came ... 7th. SEVENTH. Simply no words for this level of electoral devastation.
So that’s fifth across the UK, sixth in Oxford and eight London boroughs (including Tory heartland of City of London), and seventh in a large English city which regularly returned Tory MPs until the early 90s.

A legacy of which the outgoing prime minister can feel truly proud.
