Congress never become a cadre party. All suggestions in converting it to a cadre party will fail miserably. Why?

A cadre party requires a very strong and captivating ideology. Cadres join the party in the hope of realizing this ideology one day. E.g: a communist/socialist state or a religious state
You'll find people who are ready to die for the ideology on both sides of the spectrum [2/5]

A centrist party like Congress, without an extreme ideology, will never find volunteers or cadres who ready to sacrifice their lives for with exceptions. Most often their top leader is ready to lay down his/her life. [3/5] 
Whereas you'll find people who are ready to die for BJP / CPI(M)
In the case of Congress, many of its workers, appointed last minute, are mainly doing it as a job, not out of passion with few exceptions. [4/5]

That's why I think Congress will never be a cadre party unless it radicalizes its ideology.
So, in short, being a mass party, Congress needs to come up with ideas that resonate with 100% population.
