@WFAE “One time, couple of cases broke and it was on the truck,” a resident told reporter @alexolgin. “I had to take a breather, just getting back on and smelling all that liquor. Now, liquor wasn’t necessarily my thing, but still was just overwhelming.”

In years investigating rehabs that force residents to work for free, @shoeshine and @amyjharris got dozens of tips.

They were hoping for a Deus Ex that would sweep Trump out of power w/even republican senators voting to remove him from office. That's not happening now.

They've invested so much time into it though that giving it up would mean admitting they were completely wasting their time.

Yesterday, Dowless’ former step daughter gave dramatic testimony about how she was paid to collect ballots and how she never thought her father figure would lead her astray. Also said Dowless tried to obstruct the investigation, even trying to tell her what to say at the hearing
Dowless was called to testify but he did not. He was in attendance in accordance to a subpoena, but to compel him to testify would mean giving him immunity from being prosecuted for that testimony in the future — something the state board didn’t want to give
