Looking at the Conservative leadership challenge makes me want to start a petition to "Bring Back May" ... I know some people view May as the worst PM we've had but I don't think that legacy will last long. Only @RoryStewartUK seems half sensible with citizens assemblies etc.
I'm very public about my pro brexit stance (for reasons of democracy) however, I'm also willing to compromise (i.e. EEA docked to EFTA) and equally pro the use of citizens assemblies to thrash out a divisive issue ...
... I'm also in favour of going back in time and getting a larger number of people to sign the petition to cancel this false binary before the vote - - but alas, I'm right out of Zeiton 7 and even if I wasn't, most were too convinced on who would win.

Me : Tardis fuel. It turns a wooden box into a tardis. I have a wooden box, well technically several cardboard boxes with Amazon written on the side plus plenty of blue paint ... ps, it's not real which aptly describes this Tory contest ... unreal.
So in the absence of the fantasy substance of Zeiton 7, can we at least get a Conservative candidate grounded in a bit of reality. You could do a lot worse than Citizens Assemblies and it has been quite clear that parliament won't make the necessary choices.

Me : There's no magic plan or step by step guide. You need to outplay them, you need to be a better player.
X : I suppose you're going to say I need to learn mapping?
Me : You need to find the path for yourself. I use maps, you can use whatever you fancy.
X : What do you think my chances are?
Me : Without maps?
X : Yes.
Me : Next to none.
X : You would say that. And with maps?
Me : A tiny bit more i.e. almost none. Maybe you'll hit it lucky.

Me : Oh, people forget just how long the long tail is, how much inertia can drag things out 20-30 years. It's not a future position play but it can be a sensible revenue replacement play. Don't forget ... synergise the bejezzus out of it.

Me : Squeeze that revenue, cut those costs and return that capital. You can buy a lot of time (dividends and buybacks) to keep the street happy with that game.

X : Isn't the solution to have electric cars that no-one owns? More utility models for transportation.
Me : It's a helpful solution but be wary of digital subscription models and further embedding social inequality into transportation. Lots of gotchas down that path.
i.e. take a look at what is happening in China and consider a future where your "social score" is based upon how much money you have or more aptly inherited. That will be the Western model if we're not careful.
The next election will be at a critical crossroads, a real battle of "the many not the few" where all the games of association, narrative and misdirection will be played. It'll set the tone for generations.

1. #QAnon, our friend over at @andweknow shared a great video on recent events and DJT posts. I highly recommend it.

That's some DEEP digging but I want to offer another angle. Was DJT giving more than one message here? A multi layered, coded message?
2. The SerialBrain2 videos look at the #QDrop confirmations and what he's come up with is very intriguing, but is there something more? Look at DJT's tweet on the Clemson Tigers. What you may not know is that he posted it with a misspelling the first time.
3. Serialbrain2 gave us the math, changing hamberders to hamburgers, we insert U = 21, and remove E = 5, the difference of which is 16. We insert the G = 7, and remove the D = 4, the difference of which is 3. (16 and 3). Fast Food shouldn't be capitalized so, we have FF too.

1. There's a reason why President Trump invited the cameras to stick around for a White House meeting on trade today. There's also a reason the media are not covering it.
2. Tuesday @realDonaldTrump invited media to keep their cameras on during a round-table discussion on trade. He did this for a reason. POTUS Trump wanted the American voters to watch Republican politicians demand that Trump stop trying to bring manufacturing jobs to the U.S.
3. In essence, Trump doing what Trump does best, played the role of Toto and pulled back the curtain on the Republican anti-American corporate business agenda.
