The Senate Judiciary Committee is meeting this morning. They're holding over the following 17 judicial nominees until next time, since it's the first time they're on the calendar (this has become standard practice) — list includes 9th Circuit nominee Daniel Bress
Although many of these particular nominees have support from Democrats, Feinstein says that given the Trump administration's fast pace on judicial nominees, they're using the time they have to vet people
These four nominees are up for a vote today in committee:
- Ada Brown, Northern District of Texas
- Steven Grimberg, Northern District of Georgia
- David John Novak, Eastern District of Virginia
- Matthew Solomson, Court of Federal Claims
Here are the committee votes today on judicial nominees:
- Ada Brown, Northern District of Texas: 18-4
- Steven Grimberg, Northern District of Georgia: 17-5
- David John Novak, Eastern District of Virginia: 19-3
- Matthew Solomson, Court of Federal Claims: 19-3
