The facts are that this country has its own long history of concentration camps, no matter what euphemisms we tried to use to hide them. We did it with Native American reservations, Japanese Americans, German Americans, Italian Americans, in Vietnam, in the Philippines, etc.
There's no going back to a time when this country didn't have concentration camps at all. There's only going forward to a time when we can take "never again" seriously for a change.
You know, just in case you needed more proof that a certain president holding his little bumper sticker slogan rally in Florida tonight is also operating in bad faith.
Anyway, welcome to 2019, where the right-wing Christians cry crocodile tears over the appropriateness of the phrase #ConcentrationCamps to describe camps where an ethnic group is concentrated while the actual descendants of Jews who died in the Shoah are telling us the shoe fits.
