#Rational thinking is the ability to consider the #Relevant variables of a situation and to access, organize, and analyze #Relevant information to arrive at a #Sound conclusion. Confine oneself to the facts as they are. Do not add to it with your #Bias.
@TulsiGabbard was referring to this one incident only: at a fundraiser in New York on Tuesday night June 18, 2019, Biden tried to back up his claim that one of his greatest strengths was to “bring people together.” 1/
Biden then used an extreme example of people with whom he had major disagreements but still “#GotThingsDone” within the Senate. But today DEM and GOP Become enemies. 2/
Rather than getting the main idea of “working together to get things done”, DEM condemned Biden’s remarks, ‘cause the example he used was segregationists. Then they no longer focused on Biden’s main idea, but the segregationists. 3/
Among those critics, #Warren said, “I’m not here to criticize other Democrats, but it’s never OK to #Celebrate segregationists. Never.” Was it #Rational thinking when she said so? 4/
Kamala said that she has a “great deal of respect” for Biden but that “to #Coddle the reputations of segregationists, of people who if they had their way, I would literally not be standing here as a member of the United States Senate.” 5/
@TulsiGabbard felt those critics unfairly misrepresented Biden’s #Message to score cheap #Political points, ‘cause Biden did not “celebrate” or “coddle” segregationists; his message was “working with people who have disagreements to get things done”. 6/
While @TulsiGabbard agreed with Biden AND Clyburn (House Majority Whip, highest-ranking African American in Congress who said “You don’t have to agree with people to work with them.” Tulsi got backlash from some of her own supporters (not me). 7/
Why were some of @TulsiGabbard fans disappointed? I attached their main concerns FYI. And was it what Tulsi said? Absolutely not! 🤦🏻‍♀️ #FuckThatShit2020 8/
So what did @TulsiGabbard say? She said she agreed on the following important message: in order for Congress and the president to get things done for the #AmericanPeople, there needs to be civility in Washington and in the country — 9/
— the ability to work with those who we #Disagree, even those who hold some views which we #Abhor. In order for Congress to work for the #AmericanPeople we need to find common ground with each other. That is not possible without civility. 10/
We don’t need another president who is going to continue to #Divide our country. We need a president who will #Unite us. United we stand, divided we fall. 11/
In order to understand @TulsiGabbard who’s a unique rational thinker, and who is never distracted by irrelevancy, you need to first understand how she makes decisions. It’s all about #AmericanPeople. #ServiceAboveSelf 12/
What does @TulsiGabbard really mean? #LeadWithLove #ServiceAboveSelf I know there is a long road of healing ahead. But I am positive that Tulsi Gabbard will continue on this path to #Peace and #Aloha no matter how hard it is. She is not alone. 14/
