I have OFFICIALLY had it with the "concentration camp" linguistics. I will now settle the issue once and for all.
1. AOC et al. only brought it up in the first place as a way to cause this argument.
2. Yes, 'concentration camps' were originally ✌️🏽just✌️🏽 for internment. They could conceivably be humane.

3. So I get where the Holocaust Museum is coming from. The present situation does not compare to systematically mass-murdering people.
But is it a dangerous precursor? I think that's fair to say. The only reason the imprisoned kids won't be killed is because they can be sold.

4. Children ARE being mistreated in private contractor custody and it needs to STOP. Conditions MUST improve. Profiteers need to be prosecuted. Put your energy here.
5. DO NOT yell about abolishing ICE. There isn't ever going to be any such thing as not having an agency to do that work. We can demand transparency and accountability without just destroying everything in sight.
