Such breast-beating over student debt, and yet not a word about the corrupt govt-academia complex that enables and encourages exorbitant college tuition for useless diplomas in godforsaken disciplines which produce nothing but more votes for Democrats and more dependency on govt.
Most of the people with gargantuan student debts are Ph.Ds in useless disciplines who spent way too much time in a college campus living off their student loans while producing nothing useful for society, and now they want to mooch off taxpayers.
Any Ph.D begging for a student loan forgiveness might as well hang a shingle around their neck saying, "I am so incompetent I cannot do anything for society useful enough to get paid enough to pay off my student debt. I am sorry I wasted my time in college. I am an SJW."
Truth is most people with student debt are responsible enough to work hard to pay off their debt. They are not asking for a debt forgiveness (although who wouldn't welcome it, if handed on a platter). It's the politicians who are salivating over their votes at taxpayers' expense.
