1. Student Debt Crisis -- A Problem Without a Cause
Have you ever heard Democrats complain about any problem without blaming someone for it, until now ... in the case of Student Debt Crisis?Democrats have finally discovered a problem without a cause. Allow me to explain.
2. Fundamental deceit at the core of the student debt crisis is the conspicuous absence of any mention of root causes. Are colleges charging too much, or wasting too much money, or the lender is exploiting the loan recipients by luring them or charging usurious interest rates?
3. Which is it? Democrats won't blame the colleges because they are nests of liberalism where future Democratic voters and SJWs are hatched. And Democrats won't blame the lender that is the govt itself, which is the mother hen for Democrats. [Obama nationalized student loans]
4. So mysteriously, Democrats for once in their lives have discovered a problem without a cause. Now what do they do to justify their new scheme for debt forgiveness? They trot out a fabricated lie about a totally unrelated event to rile up people's emotions for misdirection.
5. Democrats say student debt should be forgiven because ... Wall Street. What the fuch! What bloody nonsense of an argument is that? Wall Street was loaned money to bail it out, it wasn't given any free money? And Govt actually made a profit on the Wall Street bailout.
6. You want to fix the problem, retrieve the money from where it went. Colleges charged enormous sums of money for worthless diplomas in many cases. Make colleges pay back their ill gotten loot. That's what you would do to any supplier who delivered a shoddy product or service.
7. Unless you make colleges accountable for delivering a quality product for what they charge, student debt forgiveness at taxpayers' expense is nothing but a recipe for creating even more moral hazard. On which planet rewarding failure doesn't create even more failure?

The End
P.S. Congress has held hearings of pharma executives about drug price inflation, hearings of bank executives about credit card costs, why not have a Congressional hearing of college presidents about exorbitant inflation in tuition costs? Why do they get a pass? Collusion?
