Re-upping this explanation of the GOP's (incl. Chief Justice Roberts') long-term plan for eventually including a Census citizenship Q to permanently exclude non-citizens from Congressional representation (+ ensure GOP majorities for 1-2 more generations):
Also reupping this thread, re: a June 2018 case in which Thomas + Gorsuch said the VRA doesn't apply AT ALL to racist political tricks rigging the OUTCOME of an election, so long as the darkies are allowed to play at putting ballots in little boxes.
I'm serious: Thomas and Gorsuch believe that although minorities have the right to register, cast votes, + have those votes counted, they have ZERO right to have those votes actually be EFFECTIVE. ...

Interpret today's gerrymandering decision in THAT context -- that voting is theater, encouraging minorities to believe they're participating in democracy even if they're not (which is a grand way to suppress the revolution) -- and you'll understand what REALLY happened today.

1. Several months ago I started seeing a very frightening, very formidable fact emerging from the darkness. It wasn't coming out to be healed or to surrender; it was coming out to feed. I saw hints and clues about it but it was a beast I have never understood...until now.

3. America has some dark pages in its story. A terrible amount of blood has been spilled by and for this nation. More than death has been paid and more than life has been taken by some phases of this nation's past. @POTUS made a couple references recently, I knew it was time.

The 2020 citizenship question should not be included because it is being added to aid in violation of the Constitution, Article 1 section 2 and the 14th amendment, sections 1 and 2.

Article 1 section 2 reads, “... which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.” And establishes the census.
It counts all free persons, regardless of citizenship. Furthermore, it includes indentured servants as whole persons, who were not citizens, and the 3/5ths clause counts slaves, who were not citizens. It excluded Indians not taxed because they were separate nations.
