This Antifa stuff makes me think of how terror groups have been mainstreamed by the Left.
Used to be that everyone agreed that Hamas was a vile terror group. It was designated by the US as such in 1997. A massive infrastructure was built to push back on the designation.

It was crucial for the effort to target the main 2 sticking points: (a) public relations, and (b) material support for terrorism laws that the whole campaign was vulnerable to.
