The other day I was sitting next to a group of three WOC. All three had different amazing natural hair. For a moment I thought, "I should tell them." Then I thought, "They are out, having fun with each other, and their hair is not FOR me."

We can keep our opinions, fellow guys.
I share this, not in search of "cookies" but because I regularly see guys lament "But hoooow am I supposed to tell a girl I think she's hot in the modern age?"

Sometimes, the answer is... don't. Fellow cis-white men, we do not need to inject our opinions into everything.
I'll say it again.

We. Do. Not. Need. To. Inject. Our. Opinions. Into. Everything. And. Everywhere.

There are things and places in the world that are not about our gaze, our opinions, our thoughts.

Who, one might ask! You see, Werner von Braun and his, by Jupiter C days, considerable gang of engineers and scientists, well funded and much acclaimed were unable to come up with a fuel formulation that would eventually get us to the Moon.
Stumped and feeling the heat, the former Third Reich rocket engineer, began to scour the defense-contractor establishment for anyone that could solve the problem...which, as most of us know, displayed itself in exploding rockets just above launch pads, time after time.

Hello again! Friendly neighborhood molecular endocrinologist here. With the news, a couple people have asked me about birth control lately. So, a whirlwind explantion of oral contraceptives for those with uteri.

TLDR Version: "The pill" prevents ovulation

The two critical hormones here are progesterone and estradiol. Unspurprisingly, these are the constituents of oral birth control pills.

Without intervention, estradiol and progesterone drop and start menstruation. This signals the body that there's no fertilized egg. So, you shed the endometrium, the lining of the uterus that a fertilized egg would implant in.

Garrison is a normal town. Disgustingly normal, even. It has a normal mayor, normal sheriff, norma baker, normal tailor, normal blacksmith.

Well... mostly normal blacksmith. Some might say he’s odd just by virtue of who his son is — Keith Kogane.
Keith is probably the one truly odd thing about Garrison. The thing is, no one can quite put their finger on /why/ he’s so odd. Sure, he’s a bit of a loner, but something has always set him apart as different.

Not that Keith cares. He’s got his dad, and that’s all he needs.

My Instagram world consists of pit-bull puppies, heartwarming stories of animal rescue, drag queens, kittens, fashion and Pilates.

Or, as the algorithm knows me, “White Lady, over 35.”
I know this is how they identify me because of the ads I see. Workout gear? Sure. Also t-shirts declaring “It’s always wine o’clock,” fun ballet flats, and ever, ever so many new strides forward in the science of juicing. It’s a Meghan sort of a world, my Instagram feed is.

Thank you for all the sweet get-well messages! I've been in self-imposed quarantine in the cabin. Feeling slightly better today, but I'm still planning to spend the day in bed. Three cheers for the amazing @ChrissieBodz for keeping the dogs running while I rest up.
My big discovery from yesterday is that this @untappedmaple ginger drink is really good when you're sick. I mixed it with hot water and probably drank six servings.
Wickson is having some digestive issues so we are FORCING him to rest and he's not very happy about it. Sorry, buddy! I promise I'll keep you company today while everyone else is out having fun. A white dog in bright booties lies on his back while a woman in coveralls cuddles him. They practically touch noses to each other.
