Is there any substantive way in which Superhuman is different from an email service provider like Mailchimp, which gives me read receipts w/ location, for thousands of ppl at a time, allowing further targeting along dozens of different dimensions? If anything latter seems worse
This seems like one of those cases where doing it at scale is a statistic, but doing it with one person is a tragedy. Where’s the boycott of Mailchimp and all the others sending billions of emails every day?
If someone wants to block it, simply block images. That will be way more effective than shaming everyone into not using a capability that is being used against them every day
