1. I've got three children, they're all totally different & all know you can't change sex. Niether do they buy in to the blue pink gender box. My 10 year old son has long hair & loves his soft toys, when he was three his very favourite toys were a pushchair & a monkey.

2. He pushed his monkey everywhere in that pushchair until he got to big for it. He also wore monkey in a doll sling to nursery, often accompanied by a range of multi coloured nail varnish on his nails.

3. At no point did I think 'Oh my son loves his pushchair, dressing up & nail varnish, he must actual be a girl!' I didn't think that anymore than I would come to the conclusion that a man with long hair or with a pushchair must be a woman.

4. Or a girl with short hair playing football must be a boy trapped in the wrong body, yet these superficial things are the criteria for transing kids. Between the ages of three & 7 my son actually wanted to be Yoda.

5. Had I as his adult told him that he literally could become Yoda when he grew up, he would have believed me. He would have believed me because children totally & unconditional trust the significant adults in their lives. He would gladly have taken any pill given to become Yoda.

6. To tell children they can change sex is a lie, they cannot change sex or become their favourite character, it is an absolute breach of the trust a child holds for an adult & it's abuse. How can any adult think it's ok to sell children this huge lie?

7. How can any adult push them down the path of life long pharmacy, brittle bones, double mastectomy, castration etc.
My children haven't grown into bigoted ignorant people because I tell them the truth & teach them that sex like colour is immutable,

8. in fact it's quite the opposite, they are some of the most tolerant people I know who actively challenge outdated, sexist gender roles.

9. If you wouldn't lie to your child & tell them that they can become Yoda, batman, wonder woman or anyone else they want to be when they grow up why on earth would you think it ok to tell them that can change sex.

10. This is the reason I'm gender critical, it's so superficial. The whole trans thing hinges on nothing more than western society's accepted view of 'gender' which is basically how you are expected to dress, play, behave etc based on your sex.

11. Children are vunerable & totally reliant on the adults around them. They trust & believe what they are told. They believe in santa & fairy's because of adults. They need the truth & they need protecting from something they cannot comprehend nor consent to.

12. If you take away the accepted stereotypes of women like dresses, make up, long hair etc. What have you got left to 'trans'? No one can possibly know how it feels to be another sex, it's physically impossible. Women & girls are individuals as are men & boys.

13. My eldest loves pink & Disney, she always has. She also loved canoeing, climbing, walking etc & now she's in the Police, a job that women weren't considered suitable for until 1944 then in 1954, the title "police sister

14. became police officer for men and women & from 1957, women received equal police education to males.
She is a woman & a great Police officer, her job,clothing or behaviour does not make her male. criteria for transing children is based on gender stereotypes, it's terrifying
