There is an unspoken hero in the Jeffrey Epstein story and I am not seeing him mentioned enough. Bradley Edwards is the lawyer who represented many of Epstein’s victims—some of whom were mentioned in @jkbjournalist’s Miami Herald piece.
After Alexandra Acosta’s outrageous non-prosecution agreement, Edwards went to court and sued, saying that by not informing Epstein’s victims of the agreement, he had violated the Crime Victims’ Rights Act.
In February of this year, Edwards was at last vindicated when a judge declared that Acosta did indeed break federal law with the deal he did for Epstein.
I believe it was Edwards’ suit—which was pulling in every witness it could— that triggered Epstein’s alleged bribery payments. My sources in Florida say they believe Epstein may have been paying off witnesses who were on his staff. (Surely Epstein will claim they were bonuses.)
If you'd like to read more about Bradley Edwards and his work, I recommend this @Slate piece by @c_cauterucci that offers great background: slate.com/news-and-polit…
