American elections are binary choices. We can wish they weren't, but they are, and denying reality is simply stupid.

A Democrat or a Republican will be elected to every office. If you don't vote for the Democrat, you're helping the Republican.

What history *will* record is how a bunch of stupid assholes didn't elect Democrats when they could have stopped the rise and ultimate triumph of Hitlerian fascism in America.
