@threadreaderapp ⚖️If this myriad of evidence adds up, it means former Labor Sec'y Alexander Acosta probably just accepted the "sweetheart deal" because his boss told him to.

Accordingly, he really didn't have to resign, but probably did so to help lift some of the Epstein coverage off of Trump.

👉One of the people he bid against was Jeffrey Epstein.
💰Somehow, Trump said the property was worth at least $100 million in this article and initially put it on the market for $125 million.
