Break-Even Day... And what an magnificent day it was! The church bells rang out every hour, and we were given an extra ration of gruel at lunchtime. They even let us leave our spades in the fields, rather than carry them home with us.

That prophet of the early 21C, Jacob Rees-Mogg, was spot on almost to the day. With the inking of our trade treaty with Indonesia, we have finally surpassed what we lost on Brexit Day. Such remarkable foresight. It is just a shame the great man isn't here to see it.
However, footage of our celebration has been tight-beamed to the Platinum geriatric colony on Mars, so he will no doubt have opportunity to relish the occasion in due course.
