A smart Dem rep would pivot from their prepared questions and follow up on Ratcliffe's filibuster and allow Mueller to say what he wanted to say Ratcliffe
Opportunities stand out, make gains in this hearing come not from some prepared zinger question, but from an audible based on Mueller's testimony. Push for speed is dumb, smart Congressmen should listen and watch Mueller's reactions, then ask simple questions & let him talk
This is why @senjohnkennedy achieves so much during hearings in the Senate. He can audible with succinct questions

Pattern of white supremacist inspired attacks is remarkably similar, but directionally diffferent. Jihadists were top-down driven (Directed, Networked, Inspired) But these domestic attacks are bottom-up (Inspired, now leading to Networked)

Important to remember that initial reports of multiple shooters, after the fog clears, turns out to be multiple reports about the same shooter or reports that turn out to be about responders to the shooting
Regarding the El Paso shooting for those just seeing it #EPShooting
reports are conflicting & just like with Gilroy last week, local El Paso PD is who to listen to and they’ve done good updates so far. Said one person in custody. Police SGT suggests there was only one shooter during press briefing. But left open that it’s still an active scene

If I had hired the #Mueller team as a law firm, and Bob Mueller showed up as lead counsel for me today, I’d be (a) filing a bar complaint for various violations of the Code of Professional Responsibility & (b) suing for legal malpractice. He clearly did not know his case
And, if #Mueller did know his case, he was clearly failing to adhere to so many legal standards that I’ll have to spend the rest of the day cataloging them. It was a disgrace and a political hatchet job.
And if he genuinely did not know the answers he said he didn’t know; or legitimately refused to answer other questions, then #Mueller was engaged in turning upside down American criminal law jurisprudence. Exonerated?

1. It is important to remember Mueller acts as the Deep State Fix-It man. His worth to the DS is his ability to act as a wall between the facilitators, their nefarious actions, and the wheels of justice.
2. If cover, time and obstruction is what is needed Mueller is the man to do it. His use of disinformation, manipulation of the media, false testimony to Congress, and hiding evidence is well-documented.

Second, there’s a strange mismatch between the pace of the super-fast “no obstruction” decision, versus not-so-fast #Mueller report vetting.

Obviously, Barr wanted to get the no obstruction finding out in his summary letter.
Reviewing thousands of pages of evidence to make a complex, fact-intensive legal conclusion on obstruction ought to be as time intensive as vetting a 400 page report for material that shouldn’t be released.

The fast-train/slow-train contrast is odd.

I will now read for myself the #Mueller #CohenSentencingMemo and comment on it here in real-time like I previously did the one from the Feds.
Mueller says Cohen ADMITTED lying to Congress specifically to conceal the president's involvement in the Moscow business project, and give false impression matter was settled before the Iowa Caucuses.
The tone of Mueller's memo seems friendlier to the Feds, which was a 38-page verbal spanking (see my thoughts on that one posted here earlier).
