This couple is bickering at the terminal and it’s awkward af.
He’s shaming her for getting the kids hot chocolates. Now she’s using me as an excuse for why she won’t sit next to him. There’s plenty of room. She hates him.
I moved so now she has no excuse. She still won’t move. The son seems like he’s going through his awkward phase and is terrified of his dad. Dad is very tall and being a dick. I’d be terrified too.
The daughter is older, probably around 16, she seems to be able to placate the father the best. I’ve come to the conclusion everyone in the house lives in fear of this man. The son and mom are sitting next to him finally, reluctantly. Heads down.
Every time I see interactions like this in public, I know it’s 1000 times worse behind closed doors.
Anyway, I predict they’ll be split up by the time that kid is out of his awkward phase. I can see it in her face. She’s done. Staring straight ahead. Wondering how to get out.
