This is so revealing. Omar compares some Americans to Nazis and detention centers to concentration camps so we don’t have to imagine.

Trump made a campaign out of trashing America w/ selective spin. Omar also does it regularly. They should both be condemned for it. Instead, certain CNN personalities want to apply 2 different standards, then cry hypocrisy about partisans on the right doing that, too.
Here was my thread about the Omar clip the other day. I view today’s Trump tweets in the same way. There is a defensible interpretation, but he has (rightly) lost the benefit of the doubt w many people.
But the problem remains that allegedly neutral arbiters can’t credibly run around giving that benefit to the worst actors with a D by their name, and then insist no one give it to anyone with an R by their name.
