Perhaps not the best nickname to embrace: the Peróns quite famously gave the Nazis safe haven in Argentina after WWII & likely enriched themselves by taking a cut of the ill-gotten gains the Nazis stole from the Jews & others and smuggled out of Germany.

NEW: Jeffrey Epstein was indicted on charges of sex trafficking & conspiracy. Prosecutors allege Epstein sexually exploited & abused dozens of minor girls at homes in Manhattan & Palm Beach from 2002-2005 & perhaps beyond. Some girls were as young as 14.

NEW: When law enforcement executed a search warrant on Jeffrey Epstein’s NYC mansion (at the same time as they were arresting him at the airport) they seized nude photos of what appeared to be underage girls. Prosecutors ask he be jailed pending trial.

NEW: Epstein pleads not guilty to underage sex trafficking. DOJ considers him a flight risk because of his wealth, foreign connections, & private jets + wants him behind bars thru the trial. Epstein will stay in custody for now — bail hearing is Thursday.

Is it possible to agree that offices might be a few degrees cooler than they need to be & that there’s likely a happy medium that exists here without declaring A/C the Devil or nah? BTW I say this as someone who personally couldn’t care less what the office temperature is so 🤷🏼‍♂️.
And yes yes yes I know about the inevitable “if you’re cold, just wear a jacket you whiners” takes but again I don’t really have a temperature preference myself and I’m talking about ways to make offices enjoyable for everyone without immediately resorting to angry dunking.
I love to throw a “can’t we all just get along” tweet out there everyone once in a while
