1. I've seen these apparent drones in Turkish airspace for a long time and just don't get what they are about. First, this bird is about 10 km from the Turkey-Syria border. That yellow plane is departing Antakya Hatay Airport.
2. Second, I think it's a drone because of the flight characteristics of 18,688 ft at 130 kts. With that slow speed I suppose it might be possible it's piloted rotary or fixed wing aircraft but I doubt it.
3. So, regardless of what it is, why would Turkey be flying that mission over its own territory? Do they expect a force to enter there? Who? Not enough Kurds there to be a threat. Is it the 14,000 man Al-Qaeda army that Erdogan and his Gulf jihadist pals are supplying? 😬
