The day the NYT broke that Manafort joined the Trump campaign, Lewandowski turned himself in to police for assaulting a Breitbart reporter a few weeks earlier. It dominated the news cycle for three days (Trump helped fuel the story), giving Manafort cover. Charges later dropped.
Lewandowski participated in a finance event with Nigel Farage in NYC last week, to help raise money for a new Brexit lobbying group that Bannon serves as an “informal advisor,” on. Bannon’s former company Cambridge Analytica played a big role in Brexit.

Donald Trump’s grandfather ditched German military service to come to America where he ran brothels out west.

His father, conceived in Germany, born in NY, marched w/ the KKK & ran in mafia circles. Fred tried to toughen up Donald (a mama’s boy) w/ military school.
At the academy, @realDonaldTrump was promoted to captain.

Classmates said he was a loner, allowed hazing, took weekends off, & frolicked w/ women.

A month later, he was transferred to an admin job for failing as a captain. He claimed it was a promotion.

After 5 years at the academy, Donald avoided serving in Vietnam. Bone spurs were his excuse.

Fred handed him a small fortune & taught him the art of corruption.

The spoiled son still made a financial mess despite all he was given.

Trump’s decision so troubled senior administration officials that COS John Kelly wrote a contemporaneous internal memo to document he had been ORDERED to give #Kushner the top-secret security clearance. WH counsel McGahn also wrote a memo of CIA & others' concerns about Kushner.

1. The founders believed that the synergy of free, informed individuals with three independent branches of government would make democracy thrive. They didn't consider that the synergy of a campaign, a foreign power and a complicit majority party could destroy democracy.
2. The knew a free press was integral to our success, but they couldn't have envisioned the mass spread of propaganda - spawned and disseminated by foreign entities - through social media. Nor could they anticipate a major news network becoming a propaganda arm of the WH.
3. Further, they didn't likely imagine that our country would become so powerful that the choices of a rogue administration could inflict significant and lasting damage on a global scale - impacting economies, alliances and stability. Yet, here we are.

1/ It can be tempting to regard Jared Kushner as a little twerp, an undeserving nebbish who bought his way into Harvard yet somehow gets to boink Ivanka and also run the country. Let’s put that stupid narrative aside.
2/ Kushner is arguably the most egregious lawbreaker & evildoer in all of Trump’s Cell Bock D of an administration. He is more criminal mastermind than schlemiel. Not a GOOD criminal mastermind, but still. What is already publicly known is enough to convict him many times over.

The subpoena for Deutsche Bank records related to Trump's accounts is a potentially huge development. Why?

For one thing, Deutsche Bank loaned tens of millions of dollars to Trump at a time when no other bank would touch him. And we don't know why.
