Okay.

You all know my position is I don't do unpaid PR work for people I disagree with, but if anyone wants to know what Feral Hog Guy is actually on about, I can explain his actual point.
He's not actually saying that he gets 30-50 feral hogs in his yard nor that he would solve this problem with an assault rifle.

He's positing this as the nightmarish end scenario if there weren't people culling feral pigs with such weapons.
He phrased it ridiculously and it's a specious argument, as nothing about such culls require specific individual private citizens to have unfettered access to the firearms.
But that's what he's talking about: if people don't cull the feral fogs (which are technically an invasive species) then they will breed and overrun his region.
I'm not saying this to quash the memetic fun. It was a ridiculous, histrionic tweet that didn't bother to explain its premise but just jumped right to "30-50 FERAL HOGS IN 3-5 MINUTES!" and by all means, cherish the moments of joy the memes give you.
And to be very clear, I'm not saying he's badly laying out a well-intentioned plan for managing the invasive hogs through carefully coordinated action. This *is* his argument for why he should get to have the guns he wants.
But in his scenario, 30-50 hogs is what happens if he doesn't get his guns, not what he uses the guns for.
