When I visited the front lines and training in Libya is their is no sense of move shoot and communicate among small mechanized units, rather the general use of noise and general impacts against opposition forces. Even though the region is the home of the ghazw or raid. 
The "Toyota War" was built on ghazw or swarm tactics. Chadians completely overran much larger fixed soviet style forces in bases like Wadi Doum commanded by Colonel Khalifa Haftar. The same Haftar is bogged down in Tripoli manned by Toyota technicals.
