@IOMAX_USA Although much of the news is around China's OBOR there is also a major arms race in Africa. Cheap Chinese knock off weapons often used to fight civil wars, repress people or keep dictators in power. It doesn't matter who the US sells weapons to anymore. scmp.com/news/china/dip…

Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Philippines have insurgencies that wither and regrow arms embargo or controls. We spend billions on nuke anti proliferation but have no success stopping the proliferation of low tech weapons other than to hand out other people's guns.
