✌️ Two years ago, we started a self-driving car startup. We were a little insane!
But it's paid off. The @voyage team has made ridiculous progress on our path to driverless. I wanted to share that progress and our plans.

1️⃣ One day, our technology will be able to drive a car on any roadway safely.
Instead of waiting for that day before building a business, we are focused on partnering with large communities where we can commercialize the state-of-the-art in self-driving technology today.

2️⃣ A little over two years ago, we launched our G1 fleet of self-driving cars at a small retirement community in San Jose.
We placed a bet that the calmer roadway would enable truly driverless cars sooner.

3️⃣ 8 months later we moved to Florida and launched our epic G2 fleet of self-driving cars at The Villages (a retirement city).
This Villages is enormous, with over 125,000 residents living on over 40mi². There are thousands of things to do!

4️⃣ The key is that the natural driving speed at The Villages is 25MPH.
Our first driverless product (no Test Driver) will travel point-to-point within our communities fully autonomously. The self-driving car will initially be limited to, you guessed it, 25MPH!

5️⃣ As the state-of-the-art advances (and it is moving fast!), we will advance our self-driving technology with more capabilities, such as faster speeds, enabling driverless in progressively more communities.

6️⃣ What's most exciting is that, over the last two years, we have validated that our approach to building self-driving technology is working.
We have work ahead of us, but we now know that we can deliver a truly driverless car (soon!) in these communities.

7️⃣ We've also validated there's massive demand for our self-driving product within our communities. We'll be sharing more on this soon.
