Thread. Can’t praise highly enough reporting done by @mattshuham of @TPM on Trump administration’s evisceration of USDA’s Economic Research Service & National Institute of Food and Agriculture. This has been a contemptuous & brazenly dishonest proceeding implemented to....
....strip American farmers and ranchers of valuable research support and Congress of important sources of policy advice and information — and to wreck the careers of over a hundred career government employees. @TPM gave it better coverage than did much of the farm press.
