– deputy chief of staff JoJo Penn
– political secretary Stephen Parkinson
– press aide Liz Sanderson
Lords Leader's office directing me to No10 for this. No10 declined to comment. Barwell and Penn also declined to comment. Parkinson and Sanderson did not respond.

NEW: Boris Johnson’s women aides have expressed fury that they are being paid less than male colleagues

– one adviser is threatening to take the government to an employment tribunal
– several have lodged complaints about their salary packages

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).

Well since Jo Johnson has decided to ruin Boxing Day, let’s have a little think about this article in the Times.
There's ultimately two substantive points here: Johnson believes that universities need to be forced to protect 'freedom of speech', and a group of Oxford academics has recently been involved in an attack on it.
It's worth noting that academic freedom of speech is already protected by the Higher Education Act of 1988, something I learnt when my institution used it to protect my academic freedom of speech from a homophobic attack.
