@hasanminhaj It is very sad to see some one talk about #Article370 and Kashmir as if that is the only story. Article 370 was applicable on the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) where Kashmir having slightly more than 50% population of the whole state, was one out of three provinces, 1/8

@hasanminhaj others being Jammu and Ladakh. In the name of Independence, Some Kashmiris under influence of Pakistani expansionists and religious fundamentalists with financial, religious and tactical support from pakistan had adopted means of armed terrorism 2/8

@hasanminhaj to achieve the ulterior objective of merging J&K with pakistan. Since India has always rejected two nation theory based on religion, it has all the right to defend its territory and people from the mischievous objectives of pakistan. 3/8

-pakistan would never have invaded J&K in 1947 and killed thousands of Kashmiris 4/8

@hasanminhaj -pakistan would have vacated PoJ&K, Gilgit Baltistan in 1949 as per conditions laid down in @UN resolutions so that the necessary measures could have been taken for conducting plebiscite. pakistan did not vacate PoJ&K but annexed Gilgit Baltistan with itself. 5/8

@hasanminhaj @UN pakistan violated these resolutions and attacked India in 1965, 1971 due to which UN resolutions became invalid and Shimla Agreement came into effect. After having lost in both wars, pakistan initiated proxy war based on zia's TOPAC 6/8

@hasanminhaj @UN -pakistan would never have handed over a part of PoJ&K - Trans Karakoram Tract to china in 1962
-china which is a tactical ally of pakistan attacked India in 1962 and occupied Aksai Chinn 7/8

@hasanminhaj @UN With this kind of neighbours its is foolish on part of world to expect India not to defend and Develop J&K for the welfare of its citizens.
Fact - Kashmiri Hindus had to face #Genocide at the hands of terrorists and their sympathisers which culminated in #7thKPMassExodus 8/8
