I was going to create this thread last night but it was getting late when I had absorbed all of the information. I thought it was better to push this out when everyone had left work and was likely to have an alcoholic beverage to hand, so...
...it's looking possible we might leave the EU before the deadline. I'm sure many of you have already seen bits/all of what I'm going to share, so hopefully this will help those that have missed it. I'm naturally sceptical so I'm not bouncing around just yet...
...and I would encourage others to keep calm until something happens, because no-one likes egg on their face, especially if it's thrown by remoaners. How can we leave imminently then?...
...It looks like there are a few things happening. Firstly, Tom Tugendhat MP put out a tweet suggesting that the UK might unilaterally exit the EU in the next week or so. There are some interesting replies to his tweet.

...Secondly, Stephen Barclay is going to sign the order which repeals the 1972 ECA. This will set the date in stone and lets the EU know we are definitely leaving. This can't be stopped by Parliament.

...Leaving in this way would be far more satisfying than leaving on the deadline. What this means for May and her team, I've no idea. But the case claims they acted illegally, so perhaps there are legal battles ahead? I would love to see her in court...
