@NBCNews Anyone, Russian or American, who lies to buy ad space on Facebook or anywhere else commits fraud in a commercial transaction. Call it mail fraud, wire fraud, theft of honest services, or whatever. It's a crime.

@NBCNews If we can use mail and wire fraud statutes to put parents in jail for helping their kids lie to Yale or USC on a college application, we can put political operatives in jail for lying to Facebook to buy ad space. Russian or American, these people belong in the slammer.
