1.) Guys, there’s a subject that I’m DEEPLY passionate about, that I’ve been writing a book on, behind the scenes for two years. It’s the very center of the assignment & message I feel called to be a part of, as a clarion call. I want to help champion & RALLY artists & musicians.
2.) Antiphonal Worship is when two or more groups call out to each other back and forth, thus causing a building and a crescendo of worship.
3.) Antiphonal worship was the very first model used by David, in the tabernacle.
4.) Do you feel stirred when you see of an oppressed people far away (I.e. Hong Kong, Iraq, Iran, etc...) SINGING to the Lord in the very MIDST of a dark hour?? That’s antiphonal. That is your spirit stirred as they call out.
5.) I remember when @TimTebow threw the 316 yard pass in an NFL game, and it caused the Bible verse John 3:16 to be highlighted, that God showed me that was another example of antiphonal.
6.) My life has been marked by perfectly timed proximity to certain global influencers, w/out trying, over & over, in all 7 key areas of society; ie; arts, govt, family, media, education, business, etc., I don’t know if it’s a prophetic calling on my life but it keeps happening.
7.) My point is; I’ve noticed the trend, I’m well aware of it, it’s partially why I chose the name “Strategic.” I know I’m exactly where I need to be to speak life to key ppl, at key moments.
8.) And here is what I’m driving at; in this moment of Great Awakening, I feel VERY very compelled to CALL OUT in antiphonal manor of worship, because I know it sparks and inspired the worship in others to resonate, and equally, they begin to call out in antiphonal, too.
9.) That in EVERY area of society, champions of justice, truth and beauty would walk in the fullness of their calling, and WHERE WE GO ONE, WE GO ALL!
10.) Every person’s contribution is key.
11.) Another later to this is Malachi 1:11. When @GenFlynn recently hinted at 1:11, with his twitter bio, it was very confirming to me personally. Because I have walked in what I have called “Malachi 1:11” assignments for about 20 years. On purpose. I’m young, but it’s true.
Malachi 1:11 states that IN EVERY PLACE (emphasis EVERY) incense (which is prayer & worship) will rise to the renown of God, from the rising of the sun, to its setting. The imagery of the rising and setting sun, is hinted at Jesus as the Bridegroom from Psalm 19, etc.
12.) In other words... the WORTH of Jesus has put a principle in place that in EVERY place, no matter what; some will recognize HIS BEAUTY AND WORTH.
13.) I’ve taken this very literally, and have gone to many dark places, at dark times. Such as elite Hollywood parties, Haiti, Kosovo, many other nations and American cities, Salem MA on Halloween night, college campuses, Lady Gaga concerts, political meetings, etc...
14.) All with the purpose & motivation to INTENTIONALLY worship Jesus in sort of a hidden ninja style. This sounds silly. I know it’s not typical life story. But it’s my story, & God has done many things and put me in many places to provoke worship, whether directly or indirectly
15.) And currently for 3 years, I’ve been in a very starkly contrasted season, of really remote geographic location, trying to gain traction with my health, and really hidden. But I came to Twitter exactly one year ago out of obedience. For the Great Awakening.
16.) And what I can bring to the table is small right now. Merely my voice, words or content. But didn’t Jesus say to his disciples, at the crowd of 5,000, when they said they had nothing to feed them, “YOU give them something to eat (and He would multiply it.”
17.) So this thread, and any effort I bring on Twitter or otherwise, is little me bringing my little loaf of bread and five meager fish, to ask God to multiply my words with something true and something beautiful. I want to break off pieces of my heart like bread & maybe inspire.
And I’m going to link an article I wrote when @ThyConsigliori asked me to speak to ART + MAGA, & why Art is strategic and important. It’s not a great article, it’s written kind of like prose or stream of consciousness style. I’m working on being more practical w my abstraction.
But basically, the article talks about an epiphany I had in 2009, at Berklee College of Music, in Boston, how that changed the trajectory of my life, and why I think art and music is so very important.
And here’s my entire point:
When we see patriots singing in Hong Kong to the Lord, or when we see athletes or military generals stand for the Lord, or when we humbly see American patriots stand together for what is true, against all odds, & even in the midst of crazy vitriol...

We can certainly know this:
We GET TO be alive for this. Not easy time, but so spectacular, if we will keep our eyes fixed on everything that truly matters.

We will call out to each other in beauty & in an antiphonal manner, that the global song will truly crescendo to the end of the age.
